In MEMORY:

TONYA (Dayo) BAILEY was a dear friend and
talented
person who came into InterPlay through the "Listening to the Wisdom of the Body" cancer project. She passed
away on Sunday, Nov. 14th, 2004 at 36 years old with ovarian cancer. She was a gifted writer, performer, dancer with a powerful and sensitive spirit.

made her transition on Jan. 8, 2003, 7 weeks after getting a diagnosis of 4th stage lung cancer. She was one of the founders-- a "kosmic mama" of InterPlay TN and the love and beauty she brought into the world, and into our communities is beyond words. Her beautiful daughter Marquetta just graduated a leader in the program and offers Adora's book to the world-- "Yo Girlfriend, The Goddess Speaks."
