BodyWisdom CLASSES: Dec. 4,11,18, and Jan. 8,15,22
"LIFE- Stories"- a creative exploration of our life experiences as the
source of inspiration for artful expression with InterPlay forms. This will
be InterPlay 101, beginning with very basic and easy forms of story, dance,
song and time for restful reflection. It will be a small gathering, limited
to 8 people and we'll explore BodyWisdom as a key to peace, freedom,
spontaneity and self-confidence. Have the "time" of your life! 6
sessions, 2 hrs. each, begin on Weds. evenings, 6-8pm, Dec. 4, 11, 18, &
Jan 8, 15, 22- $125, supplies & snacks included... to be held at "THE
PLAYROOM"...

Poetry Reading at St. Ann's Episcopal Church at Woodland Ave. with
Minton Sparks and our own InterPlay star, Tonya "Dayo" Bailey
-- hosted by Thandiwe Shiphrah... 7pm-- love offering

BodyWisdom at Cummins Station: Starting January 7
Eight weeks of BodyWisdom classes on Tuesday evenings, Basic InterPlay
for beginners wanting more play and ease and grace in their personal &

POETRY READING CIRCLE at the Playroom: Dec. 17, 6-8pm
Come bring your poetry and read around with other poets-- sharing themes, ideas and

A BREEMA/InterPlay Afternoon, w/ Diane & Katherine Correa - Jan 19
Come for a rest-FULL and play-FULL 4 hours with a combination of our forms
and reflection on having a taste of authentic and FULL life. Jan. 18,
1:30-5:30pm. Write or call for more info.

Jan. 4- Some Murfreesboro friends of InterPlay are hosting an afternoon
gathering at a Yoga Studio there. Come and discover the stories, sounds and
dances that live inside you and want to come out and play! $28, 1-4pm -

FRIENDS OF INTERPLAY:
Jan 24- I CHOOSE LOVE- Come and experience Shawn Gallaway,
artist/poet/musical magician at the second in a series of HOUSE CONCERTS to
be held at Ron & Diane's PlayRoom. 7-9pm with jam session to follow.

Some other things we are playing with:

* River Retreat with Nika Quirk -March 21-22.
Much desire was expressed in Knoxville to have Nika come
back for an untensive retreat at the river house to explore the magic
of manifesting our dreams... she would like to support us in creating
a circle of mutual support to live out our best stuff!... we are thinking
the third weekend in March would be a good time since she is
coming to the east coast from oakland to do a Life-Coaching Seminar in NC on
March 14-16... let me know if you would be interested in this and I'll get
you details as they unfold...

* Tom & Ginny, Regional InterPlay leaders from NC are interested in doing a
retreat or some other kind of InterPlay here, maybe in summer? Let me know
if you have any ideas about what would be useful to you. They have
extensive experience with church groups, non-profits, and within corporate
settings. Does your group need a powerful/playful staff development
experience?? Call us!

* LEADERSHIP PROGRAM in the fall of 2003. With the support of the national
InterPlay program, I hope to initiate a year-long InterPlay leadership
program modeled after other such programs in other regions around the
country. (Nationwide and in Australia there are about 250 people now trained
as InterPlay leaders.) I went through the Asheville program led by Ginny
Going and Tom Henderson, and will work closely with them and other regional
leaders that will work for us locally. Being centrally located in the
south, I think we may attract people who have done some InterPlay in
Georgia, Alabama and Kentucky as well as Tennessee folks! If you want more
connection, more joy, more health, more spontaneity in your personal and
professional life-- then this is the program for you. I loved that there
was so much freedom and so much learning through what felt like just pure
play! IP is sneaky that way!

* WorldPlay!-- Cynthia Winton-Henry & Masanko Banda are putting together a
Southeast tour- playing with diversity... Would like to host a big
multicultural gathering where people who come from different parts of the
world could come and share their dances, songs and stories with the
InterPlay forms... This gathering could possibly conclude with a large
public performance/celebration. Who would like to play host with this one??

* Mary Tyler, my grassroots organizer friend from Jackson, is hosting a
Women's Empowerment Program using InterPlay as tool to get things moving in
her part of the world!

*House Concerts once a month at The Playroom... Ron is lining up some
musicians to perform followed by a jam session... Nov. 24- Old Time String
Band Assoc., and Dec. 7, Jim Woods & Terra Nova $10

* Chattanooga/Atlanta InterPlay experience sometime in Feb. we'll be hosting
an InterPlay gathering to collect interested folks in that part of the
world... Let us know if you know people who live there who we should invite!
