Outta Da Blue presents:
Borders & Boundaries

Human beings are explorers of earth and sky,  always pushing further in our quest for meaning...and control.  Where do we create borders, and what are we choosing to keep out?  Where does our heart lead us to explore, expanding our physical and spiritual boundaries?  Who is hurt in the process?  In this era of immigration battles, corporate globalization and loss of personal rights, come explore with us how we navigate difficult waters, extend hospitality...and reach out to each other with love and respect.  PERFORMANCE -- Sunday, July 22, 2007,  7-9 pm
First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville, 1808 Woodmont Blvd. (Your Generous Love offerings benefit the
Malawi Scholarship Fund- $15 suggested)

Nika Quirk, MBA, InterPlay Leader, Consultant FLYER

"Work is Not the Opposite of Play" One of the many unhealed splits in our world is that of work/play. Yet so much of our time and energy is spent at work.. Nika Quirk, M.B.A. and Certified InterPlay Leader will create a Play & Development (P&D) Lab for participants to explore the gifts given and received through work and the possibilities for showing up everywhere as our playful (and meaningful!) selves. Ponder this-- how do Santas elves find joy at work?

"Unlocking the Heart of Collaboration" Successful and sustainable partnering with others requires a foundation of self-reflection and commitment. So many of us are tired of feeling isolated and overwhelmed and desire the satisfaction and synergy of connected effort. Nika will lead participants through a process that unlocks and unfolds the collaborator in each of us discovering the motivation, the vision and the next steps of creating collaborative relationships.

Directions:
*Going West on Charlotte turn right at light on 26th Ave. N. and go north several blocks and it is on the Left at Torbett.
*From I-40 going west, take the 28th Street exit, turn left at the bottom of the ramp, go 6 blocks or so, and turn left on Torbett, go 3 blocks, and the church is on the corner on the right. Looks like an old church; well-lit parking lot. Call 615-594-4410 if lost.
